A good book to curl up with when you're trying to get out of a reading slump. A cute famous/not-famous romance with a couple of twists on the trope.
I'm a sucker for a cheesy romance, just like a lot of people. This book was exactly that. It had the happy ending I was expecting, however not as much action as I would have liked. Enjoyed it thoroughly though and now I'm debating a trip to the coast to watch the sunrise and stick my feet in the water.
This novel is the perfect fluffy read. And it's a YA novel! I know I've said it before, but I'm greatly bothered by the overall content in YA novels. They are often more cringe-worthy than many adult novels. Anywho.......this YA novel did not disappoint. It was the perfect mix of romance and reality. I will be looking for more books by this author.
Eine nette Sommerlektüre, die aber gegen Ende hin etwas langweilig wird. Muss man nicht unbedingt gelesen haben.
It was a light read, but it became so bland and predictable towards the end.
I was very disappointed with this book. The writing was subpar at best, and I had to keep a pen with me to correct all the typos and grammatical errors I found. The story line was predictable and kind of juvenile. It wasn't believable, wasn't enjoyable, and didn't seem to be thought through properly. In my opinion, Jennifer E. Smith could do much better. I've genuinely enjoyed her writing in other books, which is why I was so upset that this one left me bored and just mostly angry that I'd wasted my time reading the whole thing. In my opinion, not worth wasting your time.

An old favorite holds up! This book is the epitome of summer and of romance. Perhaps more formative for me than I had thought. Near and dear to my heart, so glad to have reread this.
