I finally finished a book this year. After a ridiculously long slump, I finished this loser after 20 days.
And let me tell you.

It wasn't worth it.
I went into this expecting an ice cream cone of guilty pleasure fun. It was useless fluff. Two stars because I didn't DNF. Though, I will admit to skimming the last chunk.
Anyway, bottom line, not my cup of tea. I don't recommend this to anyone. I didn't get out of it what I was expecting (my expectations trumped reality) and the climax had no payoff, being in and of itself completely anticlimactic.
I'm sorry, but what was the point of this book, again? Oh...nothing?

Great use of 20 days of my life. Should've gone for a fantasy novel. Probably would have finished it sooner, too.

I didn't like this one nearly as much as The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight (which is one of my favorite books), but it was still enjoyable, and the writing style was beautiful. It has a great idea and a great message, as well as reasonable problems. I loved the little emails sprinkled throughout!
I can't wait for Jennifer E. Smith's next book!!

I read this book in one day. Not because I was so engrossed, but because I just wanted it to end. This book felt like rainbow rowell's attachments except not as well done or as deep.

A very cute YA romance! It was nothing groundbreaking, and very typical of the genre for the year it was written. I enjoyed it in its simplicity. It does what it sets out to do, and Graham and Ellie have an implied happily ever after. They are cute together, and I enjoyed the subplot of Ellie and Quinn's friendship, though I wish I had seen more of it. Good easy read!
Perfect summer read, even though this is September. Great story--just enough romance and intrigue to keep me reading and interested.
I wasn't that blown away the The Statistical Probability of Love at First Sight by Jennifer E. Smith but I absolutely loved this book. Honestly, I picked up this book about a dozen times before I actually sat down to read it. The whole idea of it seemed silly, he finds her by mistaking her email with the person who is meant to walk his pig? That just seemed weird. But, as soon I read those first emails between Ellie and Graham I was unable to put this book down. It was heartfelt and deep but filled with the promise of love. An added bonus is I think this book has the most fantastic title EVER!
Pretty generic YA book. I really enjoyed it. I like that the ending wasn't all "we promise to manage this relationship"
It was a cute summer book. I got it for $3.00 and for that cheap of a price, it was still a really good YA book. Some parts, I do wish were different though...like the ending. Guess it means I need the next book! :P
