Vacillating between 2.5 and 3 stars. Just as long as you know it's beyond fluff, and are prepared to suspend disbelief, you'll probably enjoy it. the characters are nice. I liked everybody. It just was all very bland, so..I'm thinking 2.5 actual. The depth it was aiming for was not the depth it achieved.

Review to come!

This author.

Oh, how I love clean, contemporary romance!

I know some say they were a little bit disappointed with this book, but since I wasn't planning on reading this book, I had no expectations or hopes for it. But, thanks to Booknut101 who gave a digital copy of TIWHLL, I read it in two days (I tried to pace myself) and I enjoyed it. While I can understand *main females name*'s frustration and confusion about whether or not to date that famous guy, It was hard for me to understand before knowing the backstory of the mom and Senator. And even though the ending is noncommittal, and it's kind of obvious what happens (Guy on tour, 2 different sides of guy, small town girl doesn't like the spotlight)
Spoiler Mostly likely not gonna happen
.

And..... A second one would be really cool (with the Senator maybe opening his mouth about his daughter), but if Jennifer continues in the same pattern as her other books, I'll just wait for the next book that she comes out with.

REREAD REVIEW
I found myself focusing in on how Smith develops the relationship between Graham and man-I-still-can't-remember-her-name and skipping past the conflict parts with the mom and the Senator. Rereading Graham made him seem younger and slightly unrealistic then I remember, but it was a really sweet book.
I would still recommend!

Super fluffy and cute! I really enjoyed this and it was just the thing I needed right now!

A teen romance that's cute and easy to recommend to younger fans of the genre (no sex, etc.) but didn't have anything substantial enough to really make it memorable.

Such a cute romance novel! I mostly sat with a huge smile on my face while I was reading it, because of the cute romance.
Ellie and Graham was two characters that I did like from the first email exchange. Their humour is just hilarious and these email exchanges were just gold. It was some cliches in this book, but I think she handled them quite nicely. Of course, some of them made me a bit... pissed? I am pretty tired by now on all the "guy-comes-in-and-saves-girl-novels".
I think that some questions were left unanswered or that the author came up with a really quick and lazy solution. (Why were even some storylines in this novel? Taking mostly about Paul here.)
But overall, I really liked the novel.

It was so boring to read. It took me forever. And the ending was, meh, did I read all 400 pages for this? Most of the plot lines were incomplete. What's the point of having Quinn as the best friend, and Devon as her boyfriend, if you won't explore that? What's the point of building Ellie's relationship with her father if in the end... absolutely nothing happens? It was just plain boring to me. Even the relationship between the main characters felt boring and also a bit forced.

3.5 stars

For the most part, I enjoyed this story - the writing is lovely and the characterizations developed and interesting - but I never felt fully invested in the characters and their struggles. I'm not sure why - like I said, I thought it was a really well-written book. Maybe it just wasn't the best fit for my tastes.

so...what happened?

seriously, if you want a cute fluffy lower YA/upper MG book feat. famous people you're better off reading Wendy Mass' book [b:Finally|6696465|Finally (Willow Falls, #2)|Wendy Mass|https://i.gr-assets.com/images/S/compressed.photo.goodreads.com/books/1388620542l/6696465._SX50_.jpg|6892105] which features protagonists that are 4 years younger but with infinitely more personality.
