Polemical, didactic and contrarian; what's not to like. Well researched, well constructed and original critique of patriarchy and its key institution.  A book that reomagines a better world for women, it's an urgent manifesto that may well be regarded in future as a classic. Ford makes no concessions to communicative convention, this is a book in which expressing anger and outrage is the point. Perhaps it wallows in rant for too long at times and might be even more powerful with a judicious infusion of very precise language. This book challenges the reader in a way that few writers dare to. In summary, a powerful triumph.

I normally enjoy reading Clementine's work, but this one just became repetitive.
