vibes 5 stars loves it finished it in a day and would have finished in one sitting if I could of. the fact that the first one ends in a cliffhanger makes me glad it's already completed. there are some obnoxious plot points with Madison Kate but that's why it's important that it's only one point of view. overall loved the tension and the story. immediately started reading the next one .

Do your worst, Kody," I whispered in response before brushing a feather light kiss over his cheek. "I know I will."

this was amazing. it had no right to be this good, i couldn’t put it down. i really like the characters except archer i needed a long time to finally start liking him because in the first two books he annoyed the shit out of me but now after finishing the series i like him as much as the other one’s . also the cliffhanger in this book urgh, i immediately started the second one.

3.5 stars ✨

Archer and Madison Kate are SO annoying. Archer’s tough guy act is cringey and MK’s childish behavior is pointless. Also, she has no reason to believe the guys are pulling a prank by creating a fake stalker situation. Clearly, the issue has been ongoing and all they’ve done is protect her. Girly likes to complain about how the trial cost her multiple offers from Ivy League schools, so USE YOUR ALMOST IVY BOUND BRAIN MK.

Regardless, the Zane and stalker situations bring a lot of mystery into the book, which has been very entertaining. I will be continuing the series to learn more and hopefully see MK get some answers.

This is minor, but it was so unnecessary to hear their names in every conversation. If you’re narrating who’s speaking, you don’t need to repeat it within the dialogue, it felt so unrealistic.

I like me a good murder mystery
