OMG! What a great first book in the series!
MK is a strong female lead character, and the book is well written.
The story builds well and ends on a cliffhanger - which is annoying but perfect as a lead into book 2. :)
Love Love Love the boys and how strong their friendship is.
I went and ordered the rest of the series straight away :)

I’m really surprised by how much I enjoyed this. Somewhere in the middle I got kinda bored, but the beginning and the end were really enjoyable for me. I’m definitely gonna be continuing the story, especially after that cliff hanger

Beginning of the books is a bit annoying and drawn out, starts getting better 3/4 of the way through and have high hopes for the next books

This was pretty cringy not gonna lie. I didn’t like any of the characters. MK and Brie act like they’re staring in Clueless but in an unironic way. I’m not about it. I do feel like this is maybe one of those series that gets better as it goes so I’m gonna give book 2 a try but I’m not really excited about it. I also read Hades and really liked it so I have a tiny bit of faith this gets better.

The FMC is so unbelievably written that I had to double check that it was written by a woman. We’ve got another covert “pick me” type masquerading as a “grown ass woman” badass filled with hatred even though she is 17/18. Honestly the one sentence that really solidified the cringe: “While I wasn't exactly sitting there spread eagle with my full vagina on display, he'd definitely seen enough to know I maintained regular laser hair removal appointments. Yes, even while in Cambodia.”……

How many teenagers do you know that maintain regular laser hair treatments?

Mmmmmmkay kinda got the gist of it after not having read it in so long, just finished it

Okay, why didn't I start this series sooner? Because I am absolutely hooked! This book was a rollercoaster, but I couldn't stop reading it. I love MK and the guys. Archer, while annoying the crap out of me most of the time, just might be my favorite. I like the bad boy, go figure

For a reverse harem book, which I’ve read quite a few of, this is written really well. I was starting to give up on reverse harems because the women are usually whiny and useless, but Madison Kate isn’t like that. Granted, she has some of her own issues, but this series is probably the best reverse harem I’ve read so far.

PROS:

- I love the banter. Banter and witty remarks are my favorite aspects of a story, and this book has a lot of that.

- Archer is a prick, but he’s my favorite for some reason ??? Don’t ask.

Writing could use some refining.
