Its hard to explain why this book made me feel so sad yet warm at the same time :,) I felt like a parent sending their kid off to college. Definitely one of my favourite books of the year. Can finally get on the Neil Gaiman hype train

Such a cozy read, perfect for the Halloween season! 3.5 stars~
Neil Gaiman always manages to capture childlike wonder and imagination so well. This was a very wholesome and mature story about ghosts, family and living between the world of the living and the world of the dead. The characters were wonderful and the ending gave me such a bittersweet feeling, as has become expected of Gaiman's imagination.

This was just lovely. I explained to my sister, midway through, when she said her kid said skating things about it: Gaimon is deep with Menace but doesn't use much actual horror. I was so glad that proved to be true in this book. I loved this full cast version especially! The musical interludes really punched up the dramatic value.
