I love Colleen Hoover’s ability to hook you and her ability to create relatable characters almost always gets me invested quickly, but this book was WILD. Plot was kind of all over the place and unexpected or difficult to follow. Lots of trigger warnings that I wasn’t aware of and things just escalated QUICKLY and not in a good or realistic way. I read it quickly so maybe that was part of it. I’ll give the second book a try just to see where it goes but overall the negatives outweighed the positives for me!

I loved this book so much. a slow start but it got better and personally I couldn't stop reading once Holder was introduced and got over the fluff
I know that Colleen Hoover is a polarizing author (people either love her or make it their personality to hate her). I am not one of her haters, but this book just didn’t leave an impression on me. I thought that the plot of this book was unrealistic, especially toward the end. I knew that Sky was going to have some crazy past because all main characters in CoHo’s books do. The more we dived into her past, however, the more I found myself pulling away from the story because of how outlandish it was getting. The relationship in this book also felt very insta-lovey. I know that there are reasons for this, but I didn’t feel like these reasons explained it on Sky’s end. I don’t think I am going to continue reading the other books in this mini series.

Not my favorite Colleen Hoover book, I didn’t think some of the characters actions made sense with what happened in the book. It was alright but I found myself wanting to be finished to move on to the next.
