There has been so much hype around Colleen Hoover than when my friend offered to lend me this book I jumped on the opportunity to see what all the fuss was about.
AND I DON’T GET IT.
There is just so much trauma. Trauma everywhere. And I just couldn’t get into the romance/smut because it is spliced between such unnecessarily heavy and confronting content.
If you look for books for escapism, I just don’t see the joy in reading stories like this.

it started out slow, but like the back half got me… Ouch.
This book would have had 5 stars if it wasn't so predictable to me. I loved it and god it was painful, but so beautiful at the same time. I may write a longer review when I'm on my computer.
Can you believe I was subjected to this type of shit at the ripe age of 15?
Ergh. It was fine until Holder asked Sky to go on birth control. I was even willing to look past the slut shaming bs. Sigh. Writing style was great as usual, some parts towards the end felt like they were written in just so that the reader can take something away from the story.
Amazing!!! Finished it in one day...could not put it down!!!! A MUST READ!
I liked the book, but had started getting bored with just the story of the two main characters, Sky and Holder, but all of the sudden, the book started taking some huge twists and turns and thoroughly sucked me in. Colleen Hoover does it again with her great story telling and unexpected twists. Interested to see what the next book in this series covers.
