Dealt with heavier topics than I wanted it to when I picked it up, but that’s probably on me for not reading the synopsis/reviews. A plot with unexpected twists, characters with depth, but just overall didn’t hit me the way I wanted it to

I think I liked how this book made me feel more than the writing itself. Holder. Oh dear Holder. He was written so well and everything he said gave me butterflies. Such a sweetheart. Amazing book, okay writing and holy fucking plot twist. Could have been better in some way but I really d recommend it.

Honestly!!! I can’t believe the twists in this book! It’s been on my shelf for well over a year and I never picked it up! Wish I had I love Colleen hoovers writing but stopped myself picking her books up for no real reason haha I love the story of Holden and sky and the twists it took just astounded me honestly!!!

Long story short: It wasn't bad, nor was it amazing.
The Good
- The angst and pain and backstories was good. It makes you more invested in the story.
- The MC was okay.
- Pretty fast story, you fly through it.
The Bad
- The love interest was a dick. I'm not a fan of the hot and cold behaviour.
- The romance was mediocre.
- Writing isn't bad, but it's not good .
