WOW.WOW.WOW.WOW.

This is my first Colleen Hoover book and it was AMAZING! This book was written perfectly, it flowed easily.

Sky lives with her mom Karen, who adopted her at the young age of three. Karen’s parenting is very strict when it comes to certain things such as not allowing Sky to watch TV, or use the internet, or even have a phone. She has also home-schooled Sky up until her senior year. From what we see, even through Karen is super over-protective, her and Sky have a pretty good mother-daughter relationship.

The story begins where Sky and her BFF Six have convinced Karen to enroll Sky in the public school system to fully enjoy her senior year. Unfortunately Sky starts school with a bad reputation because of her friendship with Six but Sky is … different, she has a tough personality. Things that would normally hurt a person don’t really phase Sky the way they should and she herself even questions why she’s so emotionally detached. Around the same time that school starts Sky meets Dean Holder. Get ready for this one because here you have this gorgeous, bad boy who also has this horrible reputation however his dimples and his way of always having the perfect thing to say at the right time is super hard to resist. Collide these two broken souls together and you immediately have this intense chemistry.

However, Sky’s life as she knows it is completely turned upside-down …. Midway through the book things begin to unravel…. Fragmented memories begin to surface as dreams. Are they dreams, are they nightmares, do they hold truth to them? Imagine discovering that this life you’ve lived, that you’ve known for 17 years may possibly be a facade. Imagine the truth being very troubling and dark, how do you recover from that?

This story is so broken yet so beautiful at the same time. Throughout this book I went through a roller coaster of emotions: laughter, anger, happiness, sadness...... you name it, this book had it. I want to immediately jump into Losing Hope (the book that follows this one), however, I’m so emotionally drained that I have to take a “chapter break”, but I’m looking forward to reading Holder’s perspective once my heart mends a little.

I definitely recommend this read…..

Tendrían que dejar poner medios puntos mi rating es de 4,5

You know when you read a book and it’s keeps shocking you in every possible way? In a good way, And it just fine, everything about it it’s fine. But somehow you feel there is something missing? Something you can’t point your finger on? You just can’t figure what’s the wrong, why can’t you give it a 5 stars? That’s how it’s like with this book.
I’m not saying it’s bad, not at all.
And i still think people should be talking about (hopeless) instead of (it ends with us) though.

**4.5**

so many dang plot twists. colleen kept me guessing with this one… i couldn’t put it down! i love that this book has something for everyone… suspense, thrill, romance, etc. such a good read!

Absolutely "lived" this book <3

The beginning was very slow. Felt like Colleen had to warm up in comparison to her newest books. But I guess everyone has to start somewhere. Somewhere half through I began to recognize my oh so beloved CoHo writing style. Although some things were fairly predictable, I actually enjoyed the rest of the story.

Book number 2 for me on the list of NA books that Gisbelle recommended me.

And what a wonderful book it was. I loved both of the characters, they were just perfect together, I loved how they teased each other, their kisses were sweet and their love amazing.

I was so sad for Sky when she found out about her past, how broken she was, and how it affect Holder, and how he stuck with her and held her.

I would say more, but words cannot describe this book. It is just perfect.

I will be sure to read the next book. (I bought it recently online, so it will be here in a few days.)
