This was very entertaining to start, and stayed that way through most of the book. It did get a little tiring towards the end when Archer kept being so clueless about his feeling for Eli, but in all fairness, that was the premise of the book.

The one thing I really took off points for was that there were way too many Taylor Swift references. I'm sorry, I do not believe that frat boys know her lyrics that well (or would slow-dance with each other to "Lover," groan). It was very clear that the authors were Taylor Swift fans and could not resist shoehorning her in. I assume they are also Sherlock fans, judging by the number of references to him as well. Authors really need to stop doing this, it super dates the book.

And also, this was genuinely the cringiest coming out moment I've read in my entire life:

Eli's eyes widened. "You're..."

"Yeah. Turns out I have some of those good NSYNC vibes going on."

Eli gave me a confused look for about half a second before he got it. "You're telling me you're..."

"Bi, bi, bi, yeah."

I'm just gonna leave that there because I swear I disconnected from my body when I read it.

Now, granted, this was a small portion of an otherwise very enjoyable book, so I will continue with the series, but I hope the authors tone down on the pop culture references in the next one...

I love me a good frat boy story and this one delivered. The heat could have been higher and the plot was a little tired, but I enjoyed myself

The vibes were just perfect with this one! Archer is such an oblivious ding dong and I will protect him forever. I always love a good bi-awakening and his is top notch for sure! I adore Eli and the banter he’s got with Archer was top tier for sure. I loved the rest of the Alpha Tau’s and how low angst this book was.

Oh my goodness this is adorable. Archer is a straight frat boy in Alpha Tau who is smart but happens to be oblivious to a few things. Like when the cute, funny guy he meets at a wedding gives him his number, Archer assumes he's offering to pay for his dry cleaning after a spilled drink. When his brothers point it out, he ends up texting Eli so he doesn't leave him hanging and that leads to Archer offering to tutor Eli in math. After Eli complains about how hard it is to find a date, Archer makes a promise to help him find the perfect boyfriend.

Archer tries to be a good wingman and ends up setting Eli up on a couple dates, but they never seem to go well. I don't want to spoil anything else, but I will just continue to say Archer is so. Damn. Oblivious. This isn't technically idiots to lovers since only Archer seems to be the one missing the glaringly obvious signs in front of him. Oof. Poor Eli!

🔥: These two are steamy in an excitable way. There's passion and desire, and scenes are quickly paced with lots of energy. They are in college, after all.
😆: This isn't LOL funny, but more "oh my goodness can you believe these two, they're so damn precious" funny. Just bros being bros.🤣
😭: No tears here!

This was such a fun read and it made me want to read the rest of the series. These guys are a blast!

“𝐁𝐢, 𝐛𝐢, 𝐛𝐢, 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐡…”

After bumping into him several times at a friend’s wedding, Archer accepts the number of the shy guy he’d kept running into at the open bar, not realizing until it’s pointed out to him several weeks later that homie was trying to shoot his shot.

Not wanting to be a dick and to clear the air, Archer reaches out to let the guy know he appreciates the effort but isn’t into dudes, and ends up striking up with a friendship with Eli instead.

When Eli bemoans the fact that he can’t seem to find any cute available men who would be interested, Archer and his frat bros take it upon themselves to set him up on several dates.

Only the lines between Archer and Eli’s friendship start to blur, and Archer realizes that maybe HE was the perfect guy he’d been searching for Eli.

Archer & Eli. Sexual awakening. Archer is a frat boy. Eli is gay and gives archer his number. They end up becoming friends, despite archer turning Eli down bc he’s straight. Archer makes it his mission to get Eli a boyfriend. And it’s so cute!!! I thought this book was so silly and fun and adorable
