Merritt is enjoying wedded bliss with her husband Luca, their daughter Elise and the baby on the way, when Lydia, Lucas first wife who went missing 10 years ago, comes knocking on their door. Having been declared legally dead, Lydia is having a hard time getting back to normal but she wants Luca to be the first to know shes alive. As Merritt struggles with what this means for her family, she offers to help Lydia recover. As they get aquatinted, something terrible lurks beneath the surface of their relationship. This was twisty af. I did predict most of the twists but it was still enjoyable! The last 10% was getting so good and then the last two chapters killed my enjoyment.

This was surprisingly interesting an shocking. I wasn't expecting what happened to happen. The end was a surprise. Definitely recommend.
