I love the premise of this book. I’m such a sucker for reality tv romances. Probably because my friends and I wrote so many AU fanfics with this premise. But this one fell a little flat for me and I’m not entirely sure why.
I should have loved this. It’s sapphic, it’s fun, it’s sweet, it’s sexy. But the spark (pun intended) just wasn’t there for me. I didn’t really connect with the characters or the romance even though I desperately wanted to.
There’s absolutely nothing wrong with this book though, and I encourage everyone to give it a go anyway because what doesn’t work for me might work for you!

A wlw reality show romance novel. I have watched reality shows in the past and we all know they are scripted. Savannah is called to be the love interest on the show, after initially being a participate on it 10 years earlier. I enjoyed this story and the romance between the characters. Cheesy reality show lines and heartbreaks. The only thing that was missing in this story was the POV of Lauren. It would've been awesome to read her reactions/feelings during the story. I received a copy from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
