I’m not saying I’m going to use the dating advice in this book, but I’m not not saying I’m going to use the dating advice in this book. Overall really enjoyed but Ethan’s jumping to assumptions bothered me, especially since it didn’t even turn out to be an issue in the end.

adore the premise of this book, and the execution was strong! themes like sex, religion & science were explored in an insightful way without making the reader feel like they're being bashed over the head with a textbook, and naomi's seminars on intimacy were so thought-provoking. there's so much to enjoy about the intimacy experiment, and there's loads to learn as well!

naomi and ethan were a great couple - like, i was ALMOST sobbing over them. and it was nice to read a sex scene that integrates clitoral stimulation.

i felt that the reason for the 3rd act break up was valid and a refreshing change from The Evil Ex(tm) trope. however, the resolution was super quick, which threw off the pacing for me.

I really enjoyed this book, an odd combo of an ex-sex worker and rabbi wasn’t something I thought I would read however it was an amazingly written book.
The pairing of the two was incredibly written and the steamy scenes that were written also added to the romance. Starting off as friends then moving to lovers was amazing

Loved this book, maybe even more then I loved the first one in this series. Im so happy noami gets her own story here because this book series was not only romantic and spicy but it also brought forward some real world issues, from things like the treatment of sex workers to how intimacy falls into modern religion and how to deal with a break up. Really a great book ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️. Can’t wait to see what Rosie donan does next 🥰

I adored this book. I didn't think it would be better than The Roommate, maybe on par, especially as I'd been told it was a lot lighter on the steamy scenes. The thing is... that was the best part about it. I just LOVED Naomi and Ethan and I think I appreciated that the book focuses on intimacy as an important part of the relationship that doesn't necessarily involve sex. Naomi's character is actually very adamant in this book that not all relationships even require sex, and that's perfectly fine and normal. The concept coming from a sex worker is just so out of left field, but it's perfect. The only reason really that I have knocked a star off is because I would have liked them to explore more of that intimacy themselves rather than just keeping the distance within the slow burn. I love these characters so much and Ethan is just way too precious for his own good.

TWs: biphobia, violence, antisemitic slurs, revenge porn (leaked nudes), alcohol consumption, sexual harassment, sexism, death of parent (father, before book, cancer)
