It's visually lovely, and beautifully heavy in one's hand, but not as deep a dive as I had hoped.

Although this book only deals with the first 2 seasons it was the perfect
read for preparing for the new series. Great insight into what happens behind the scenes and the history behind events

Absolutamente recomendable.

I gotta say I started reading the first book a while ago but never got back to finish it. I watched the whole HBO series though. This book was really interestin for me since I learned A LOT, on the different families in Game of Thrones. Great pictures, great interview with most of the cast and it also gave me a little push so I am now finishing the first ASOIAF book and be a true GoT fan.

This was wonderful. I don't watch the show anymore- too graphic for me- but I liked seeing the pictures. There were a lot of interviews from the cast and crew as well which gave a behind-the-scenes look at the show.

well, where do I start?.. Beautifully presented book, and very artfully designed, you gain such great insight about the show --you can get lost in all the stories, pictures and production anecdotes-- would make for a gorgeous tabletop book too!

I've seen better movie or series review books. But still this was a nice way. A pretty good mixture of review and actor and production and writer quotes. And the bits talking about the locations and some of the challenges filming were nice adds. I would have preferred to have seen even more behind-closed-doors stuff. And just more in depth 3.5 of 5.

I am just now into season 3 of Game of Thrones and wish I had read this when I was into season 2; it would have helped understand more of the family dynamics and relationships. I did enjoy reading more about the series development, sets, and costumes.
