My least favorite "fable", but BZ insisted, and it's not so bad.

Update: Here's my full review http://bookishrealmreviews.blogspot.com/2016/02/jack-of-fables-vol-1-2-by-bill.html

Okay to be honest in order to appreciate this spin-off series you have to like Jack from the original Fable tales. If you don't then this spin off series may not be for you. Jack is rude, arrogant, stubborn, and an all around jack ass, but I find it hilarious so I'll definitely be reading some more of these before I read the 13th volume of Fables.

First volume of Jack's adventures after his exile from Fabletown. After escaping with some money, he will be kidnapped by a group of fables. The book is good and funny, but not as good as the main ones from Fables. A good reading if you want to know everything about Fables.

The one where Jack gets sent to (and then breaks out of) a prison-like "retirement" community for wayward Fables.
