This book was fantastic quite frankly, I think one could do a fantastic literary analysis of how this could reflect modern dilemmas regarding medicine and doctors being the ones to see it from both sides while the government does nothing for the sake of either being in pharmas pocket or not wanting to cause a scene. If it weren’t for the fact that we very quickly overlook Tessa killing someon e and that Tessa needed a lot of saving and protection despite talking a lot of game, this would be 5 stars. At first I was sort of annoyed with message of the book, because I felt that it was sending the message that people need to be passive and let change find them, but as I kept reading a I don’t think that’s the case. I think the book offers that standing on the necks of those from lower classes is doomed to burn us all. However, when those peoples voices are beginning to be heard rather than continuing the blood shed, and discussion, true discussion, is possible that’s when it’s time to lower your weapon but not completely discard it either. Whether or not this was the intended way to interpret the novel I don’t know but it’s how I began to see it.

Hmm... bardzo ciężko wypowiedzieć mi się na temat tej książki. Zacznijmy więc może od zarysu fabuły, jego pomysły, ponieważ uważam, że był strasznie oryginalny, dotychczas nie spotkałam się z taką tematyką/motywem. Jedyny zarzut co do fabuły: przewidziałam prawdopodobnie najważniejszy plot twist i punkt zwrotny całej książki . Niestety za to musiałam odjąć jedną gwiazdkę, bowiem od samego początku się tego spodziewałam i przez to nie mogłam wystarczająco wczuć się w emocje głównych bohaterów.
Przejdźmy teraz do relacji między bohaterami, ponieważ to jest coś, co nie dawało mi spokoju. Bowiem autorka za mało opisała emocje bohaterów, które były skierowane między nich. Kompletnie nie rozumiem dlaczego ta relacja przyjacielska, przerodziła się w relację miłosną, oprócz tego, że oboje czuli do siebie totalny pociąg fizyczny, ale to tylko tyle.
Gdzieś z tyłu głowy siedzi mi myśl, że w następnych częściach związki między bohaterami się trochę zmienią i może wejdziemy w trójkąt miłosny, który tutaj byłby dość fajną opcją
