This was a reread, and it was just as enjoyable the second time! Such an intricate plot, that perfectly balances demands for changes with the reality of political complications.
Although I wasn't as captivated with the characters and plot of this book as I was with the Cursebreakers series, I did really enjoy Defy the Night by Brigid Kemmerer. I think most fans of YA fantasy will enjoy this book. There is a swoon-worthy romance and a great supporting cast of characters to root for. I had a good time reading this book and can't wait to read more from this author in the future.
