This was the perfect conclusion to this series. My only wish is that we could’ve seen Sonya and Anton get married or at the very least engaged. I loved all the lessons learned and the new friends they made along their journey. I can’t wait to read more from this author.

I actually quite surprised at how much I enjoyed this book.

The genre of YA fantasy romance is not typically my cup of tea. I usually feel like writing and characters are too juvenille. To be honest, I really only picked up this book because of the beautiful cover art!

Once I got home and looked it up on here I realized this was a 3rd book in a trilogy and there were some mixed reviews, so i was not sure what I was getting myself into. I wish the book clearly lists the order in the trilogy. But honestly I did fine with just reading summaries of the previous books.

The fist 50 pages was a real struggle to get through. I really did not like Sonya's character. I found her really selfish and whinny about her powers. But then with the arrival of Genevie I notice her character development. Sonya learns to be less selfish, more brave and thoughtful.

I dont think I will read the first two of the trilogy but I am pleasently surprised I enjoyed Frozen Reign.

This book was definitely stronger than the second, but it was no match for the first book. The story went along smoothly, but I just don’t think it needed to be told. The story would probably have been better off as a stand alone instead of a trio. Once again the side characters proved to be much more interesting than the main character, and the Sonya and Anton romance didn’t make me feel anything, it seemed forced and boring. However, i’m glad the habit was broken of Sonyas new bff being killed.

In this book, Perdie continues the excitement all the way to the last page. Since this is the third and final book, I don’t want to give too much away, but if you’re looking for a quick and easy-to-read saga, here is your answer. Packed with romance, magic, and sacrifice, this story packs a punch unlike most others I’ve read recently, and to carry that throughout three novels while remaining true to each character is certainly a feat worth commending. I would highly recommend this series in its entirety, but if you’ve read the first two books, I’d say you have no choice but to see how it ends. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed with where this book ends up, but you might be thrown off by the twists along the way.

Honestly, this series just got worse the more I read it. I really enjoyed the first book, with it's setting and writing style, but I feel that it should've ended there. It could have been a stand-alone, or at the very least gotten better. I feel many authors feel there's a standard for writing fantasy, where it has to be a series and it has to be a trilogy for that matter. I just lost interest the more I read and wish I had stuck with only reading the first one.

The main character, Sonya, is the most annoying h person to ever exist ever. I hate her. I feel like this series should’ve have been a standalone, because the last two books were ~awful~. 2/10 would not recommend

This trilogy helped me out of my reading slump so YAY! I wish there was an epilogue though so I could see how they all faired afterwards :( in any case I liked this series, and am so happy because it helped me keep ahead of my reading challenge
