i did like this book way better than the other ones and breaker and lia had way better communication than the others
i did have a little trouble getting through it though and had to put it down for a bit
breaker was probably my favorite brother and i loved the nerdy side of him and thought it was adorable
i also loved how lia ended up standing up for herself
this was a great way to end this series

“Doesn’t getting involved with me freak you out at all?”
“Not in the slightest, and I think it’s because in my mind, I’ve always been with you. You’ve always been mine.”

I found this a bit slow but it picked up on the second half. I loved the Sunday breakfasts at Huxley's house, it was lovely to see Lottie and Kelsey bonding with Lia.
Breaker was great, such a sweetheart but hot too. Unfortunately I just don't think that friends to lovers is the trope for me.

The slow burn. The tension!!! And when I say slow burn, I’m talking, slooooooooow. But so worth it. Lia and Breaker have to be my favorite out of all the books. This was such a perfect best friends to lovers book, (super) steamy and incredibly sweet, and had me rooting for Breaker (the obvious best choice out of all the brothers imo). So good.

Oh, Mylanta this book is EVERYTHING. I am pretty sure I’ve said that about a few Meghan Quinn books over the years but this one, this one really hit home.
Lia and Breaker meet in college, that night they instantly become best friends. They have an instant connection that is so pure, and so unbelievably perfect.
Lia is so sassy, fun, and quirky - what was not to love about her? She never held any punches when it came to Breaker – the pervert mustache banter had me in tears.
Breaker is the perfect book boyfriend. He’s by my favorite Cane brother. He was so protective of Lia, challenged her, and oh so charming.
A Long Time Coming brought back a lot of fun characters that we’ve met through the years – My favorite surprisingly enough was Myla. The reprise of Myla made me see he a lot differently than I did in Untying the Knot – I no longer want to throat punch her.
The audio – Erin Mallon and J.F. Harding played off each other so well – this duet had me in stitches. Erin ‘s comedic timing is always spot on and a pleasure to listen to – come on she can read me the dictionary and I would hang on to every word.
J.F. was the huge surprise here – I had never heard him in a romcom – it was a very pleasant surprise.
This book was so much fun, so heartfelt, so swoony and romantic. I loved the banter, the wit and all the fun little things that make it a Meghan Quinn romcom. (Which means super slow burn with holy dry hump heaven!)
