Dear. Lord. This cover is too much.
Okay, sue me. I liked this book. By no means is it doing anything new or particularly 'well' per say, but it's FUN. Dean is hot, idk. Hockey is HOT.
If Dean was a girl and this was a lesbian hockey book, I'd be giving it 5 stars. Because

Achava que este seria o meu favorito mas não me deu as borboletas na barriga como os dois anteriores deram.
Ansiosa por ler os próximos.

dean was so funny. i loved reading this book with more focus on dean because in the other two off campus books i was caught off guard by dean's characteristics but i loved how caring dean actually was. like whenever allie had hannah call dean to comfort her when they weren't even together and dean WENT and he KNEW he wanted to comfort her?? oh my god that was everything. also i loved how protective garret was of allie like damn???

This was so good omg. I literally can’t get enough of these books. Allie and Dean were so cute. And this book let me tell you... this book got steamy, and I loved every second of it. I’m in love with Dean Di-Laurentis. But I mean who wouldn’t fall in love with that man.
Also, this was definitely my favourite of the series followed by ‘The Deal’.

I still love this book so so so much. It's 1000% one of my favourite books of all time. If anyone asks me what my comfort read is, my reply will always be this book, I just love it too much. Something about a huge player finally finding his girl that will change his ways and make him fall in love. It just makes me all fuzzy and makes my heart flutter. I also love it when it starts off as a fling/friends with benefits and ends up into something more. I want to name every single part that I loved about this book but I will be here all day. Let's just say I loved the ENTIRE thing. Not one part did I not enjoy.
Dean Di-Laurentis you have my entire heart. I don't think I've loved anyone more than Dean. He is perfect. And I felt like Allie and Dean were perfect for each other and worked so god damn well. I loved their relationship.
I also love how this book deals with harder topics like grief whilst still being such an enjoyable read. Elle Kennedy, you're a god damn angel for coming up with these stories. I am entirely grateful haha. I wouldn't know what I'd do without them.
Will I re-read this again? Yes... probably a million more times.
Anyway, I've said it before, I'll say it again. If you haven't read this series yet what are you doing, go read it now.

Okay, so I actually read this book back in February, and I've just gotten around to putting my thoughts into a review. Sometimes I wait awhile to form proper thoughts before posting them on here, and I felt like cleaning out my "to be reviewed" shelf. Most of the time the books on these shelves are ones that I really enjoyed, oddly enough. I think I'm not alone in the thought that reviewing books you enjoyed are typically more difficult than ones you have problems with. At least, this is an issue I often run into, and unfortunately it's the case here.
I loved this book! I remember feeling hesitant going into it because it was Dean and anyone who read the previous books knows that he's the biggest "manwhore" out of the group. After having significant problems with Garrett, I was very afraid that I run into the same problems here with Dean. Thankfully, this wasn't the case because unlike Garrett, Dean at least had a sense of self awareness in the sense that he was up front with who he was. He didn't try to portray himself as this Gary Sue that Garett I felt was like. Yes, Dean was incredibly good looking, talented at hockey, skilled with women, and just so happened to be smart enough to get into Harvard Law School. That being said, he did have faults to him that I appreciated, and certainly by the end of the book we see him coming to terms with them. I also like how this book managed to take a trope I typically avoid/hate, "friends-with-benefits" and make it something actually meaningful. You never felt like Dean didn't have genuine feelings for Allie, and it was easy to see why he had trouble coming to terms with it. Maybe it was the mood I was in while reading this, but he never expressed wanting to date or have sex with other girls besides Allie, even during the time they weren't official. So yes, I really liked Dean and I honestly wasn't expecting to.
Allie was also a great addition to this, and she really solidified my love for this series. I think she greatly improved from the first book which she had some cringe worthy dialogue in that. I think her actually having a conflict outside of Dean was really cool too. Finally we didn't have the girl sitting around waiting for the guy to come to his senses. If anything Dean was the one who pursued her into a more serious relationship which was a great turn around for his character.
The last half of this book is what really bumped up the entire book for me. Not that I wasn't enjoying myself before but it's what made it different to all the other NA books that like it or not probably have a very similiar plot. It also gave Dean the incentive to mature a little and figure out what he really wanted to do with his life and how he views himself.
Overall, this series is good but this is the best book in my opinion. I did really like Logan/Grace, but there was something special to Dean/Allie that makes this series what it is.
