I love me some hockey romance and this whole series is freaking amazing so far. I like this book because at first these two did really hang out or know each other at all. One was a playboy and it so freaking funny that she had to walk in on her during that one scene I laughed so freaking hard. I’m glad she stood up for herself with her ex-boyfriend and told the truth about everything. I also laugh when he came to the house one after she got done watching a scary movie funny. I’m glad he finally got his head out his butt and fought for her at the end of the book.

This was by far the best one!!!! Dean was so hot and Allie wasn’t unbearable
i actually ended up really enjoying the dynamic between these two, the comedic and dramatic moments of the book and the love story. i just really hated the ending - it was so abrupt and didn't offer any closure for them in my opinion.
like because of that last line i don't want to give it more than 3 stars even though dean and allie are easily some of my favorites of this series so far. 3.5, maybe. 4? yeah, if it didn't END THAT WAY.

Here to say that I love Elle and that’s it.
I think TikTok was trying to remind me how fun her books are by showing me a bunch of hockey players videos and it totally worked. I jumped back in this series like no time had passed since I first read The Deal & The Mistake.
