It took me a minute to get into this book. I'm not sure why, but I think it has to do with how much I love Rule. I couldn't move on ( I read Rule 5 times) but I'm glad I did. The story got really good about half way in. I loved Ayden and Jet's journey!!

3.5 or maybe 3.7

I liked this one better than 'Rule', but only slightly. Again I don't think it was written to it's highest potential.

Ayden pissed me off a lot, they rushed everything at the end when really they didn't fix much of anything and just ugh.

This book was better then what I thought it would be. After reading some of the reviews I was a little afraid that this book would drag, however I found myself really enjoying Jet. Ayden does make me mad at some points in the book, however I think everyone in their early twenties felt somewhat what she feels through this book.

I absolutely loved Rule so I was anxiously awaiting Jet. I have to say it did not disappoint. Jet and Ayden were HOT. The author did a great job of revealing who they were and why they behaved the way they did. In a change from Rule, it was the female in the book that drove me crazy with their stupidity. I really didn't get why she just couldn't tell Jet what was going on. She's lucky he is so awesome and
Spoilercame to the hospital for her without her asking. Seriously, that made me love him so much!

This book was so well written. It sucked me in and I couldn't stop till I was done reading. I can't wait for Rome and Cora's book. I can't believe I have to wait till January!!!

Did anyone else really want to smack Jet? I did. I'm pretty sure that Ayden wanted to! This isn't my favorite yet, but I did like the rocker-meets-the-smart-girl-with-a-bad-history story. Jay C knows just how much angst to put in her stories to make you hope and dream for the characters. So far she's got my attention.

Why do I read this crap?

Well, I was extremely excited about this book. I absolutely LOVED Rule and the release date for Jet couldn't get here fast enough. Unfortunately, it was a little bit of a letdown :( I didn't really feel the intense connection I got with Rule and Shaw between Ayden and Jet. I felt no chemistry, and it made it all a little blah. I didn't really get Ayden at all. I understood what JC was trying to do but considering the rest of the characters in the book are pierced, tattooed whores with completely fucked up life stories, it didn't make any sense, and the mafia and brother thing felt fake and forced. The entire book just felt very disconnected and well, just dumb. However, I did love Jet and really loved Rowdy. I can't wait to read more about him.

The book is by no means garbage. My low rating has more to do with my expectations than anything else. If this was any other book I would maybe have given it 3 stars, but I really expected so much more. Keeping my fingers crossed for Rome :)

I really enjoyed Rule, so I knew I was going to continue this series through. There was just something about Jay Crownover’s bad boys that immediately sucked me, so I couldn’t wait to see what Jet had to offer.

Ok, let’s just get it out of the way that Jet is sexy. Oh my WORD. Musician, eyeliner, broody… he’s just the complete package of hotness. I liked Ayden well enough, especially at the beginning but she started to grate on my nerves throughout the novel. I LOVED Cora. She is definitely one of my favorite characters thus far, and I enjoyed seeing more of her and I’m really looking forward to seeing more of her in the books to come.

I thought Ayden’s side of the story was kind of bland and predictable. It’s not an unfamiliar storyline, with a girl who grows up in a trailer park trying to get away from her past, which obviously catches up with her. Jet’s story was a little more interesting. I loved how he comes off as a carefree, sex crazed musician but he has his side business and really looks out for his mother. His story though, was also one I’ve seen before with the deadbeat dad, and family issues.

One of my favorite parts of the story was the epilogue. I thought it was a great ending to Jet and set the tone for the next book. Even though the storyline was predictable and at times Ayden drove me nuts, I still really enjoyed Jet. The romance and characters didn’t quite pull me in as much as Rule did but it was a good read, and kept me sucked into the story until the end.

I will definitely be continuing this series, and I recommend it to anyone that likes New Adult romance!
