Writing was better the plot is thickening but wow these people jump into bed so quick

This will always be one of my favorite M/M, I love Benito and Harlow, they are so damn hot

-Arranged marriage
-This is how you write a BRAT character
-Possessive MMCs x2

🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️
-Rough, angry, stabby sex

-I was entertained by most of this book, but one emphasized part of the plotline involving an ex-lover fell very flat for me

Oh my goodness this book was so bad. I’ve never agreed more with one star comments in my entirety of reading and that’s saying a lot because I read a lot. This entire book is supposed to be some forced marriage badass MM mafia trope and it’s so bad.

Like they were both forced into this marriage and Harlow acts like it’s Benito‘s fault he’s there in the first place.like they both don’t want to be there I feel like it makes sense. It just makes the best of the situation you’re in instead of trying to make everybody’s life hell.

And his tactics are so juvenile it’s like are you some bad ass mafia dude or are you a flipping teenager? You’re pulling a knife on dude every single chapter and loses a shock factor just like OK what now and he’s hiding dildos around his house like what?!

I got to chapter 14 and I literally was like I can’t read this anymore. It was like physically tiring I had to force myself to keep reading I couldn’t do it anymore. I feel like the author is trying to make this some badass mafia husband book but instead it just comes off as tired played out and dragged on like they were dragging this shit it’s bad. It’s really bad.

I think the worst part is I was debating whether or not to buy this book or another book and I feel like the worst decision I made is buying this book and maybe I’m dragging it but this book already dragged it so yeah.

Where am I at in life that Benito is the most sane of anyone in this series?
