The way Benito is depicted, I really really hope he doesn't become a diabetic or have a heart attack before the series is done. Harlow is a vision, damn, sexy af. He's one of the best characters I've read.

I've tried the first book in this mafia series a few months ago, and the writing and the way characters acted/talked made me cringe so much I put it down. Multiple times (I really tried to give it a go but omg).
I decided to try the most popular of the series, because sometimes I end up liking it despite disliking other books by the same author.

The way the characters spoke felt so unrealistic and wattpad-ish that it took me out several times. I usually kinda like possessive MCs, but like come on, really? You barely know each other??? (I had the same critique for the first book)
And the smut wasn't even that good tbh, after they did it once, I got bored and didn't want to pick it up again, so that will be a DNF for me!
