A unique take on the typical office romance between boss and employee. Completely refreshing and well written. I laughed more than I cried and found myself rooting for Ryan a lot of the time despite the circumstances they were in. If you want a light read with lots of laughter and a hot romance then I recommend this book!

While insta-lust, this is not your stereotypical insta-love story. Sam and Ryan are both equally complicated and diverse characters that had me hooked from early on as their layers were pulled back to reveal who they were.

This book spoke to me on a level that was completely unexpected. The fear and anxiety that surrounds entering into something new after a previous betrayal is intense and often difficult to get around. So I really empathized with Sam at certain parts of the book. That being said, I also wanted to scream at her for not seeing how perfect Ryan was for her. Their connection and my desire to see things play out had me reading as fast as I could, even sneaking pages during my work day.

“I think you can butt out and go psychoanalyse someone your own size.“

Pretty solid average romance read but I did like that the ‘final hurdle’ was career based since it was actually realistic & an interesting situation to explore which made it a not cringe & annoying ending 🙃

Loved it.
From the well written story to the great and reliable characters . I loved how all my questions were answered by the end and how everything followed up smoothly into a heartwarming love story.
Would definitely recommend it.
