How is there only one volume left? I'm kind of afraid the ending will be rushed, I feel like there is so much more left to cover. I have questions! However, I'm not going to assume to worst and I will wait to read the last volume to see what happens, then wither complain or squeal.
I feel like this volume did answer questions that I had when reading previous volumes, and now I'm sad there is only one more volume left.
I don't really react when reading, I'm rather quiet, but there were two times when I reacted verbally. at the end of chapter 162 I said "Whaaaat? I WAS WRONG?!" and in my head I was going "AHHHHHHHHHH". then at the end of chapter 169 I said "Wait, What?!" Because literally, what?
I don't think this was the best volume, although it was solid imo.
My brother needs to catch up with this series because it's getting harder to keep spoilers in.

I had a feeling Isabella would return, and I’d guessed she wasn’t entirely evil. But the way she was brought back—suddenly promoted and apparently on the children’s side all along—felt underwhelming. It seemed too convenient, especially with how flashbacks were heavily used to explain things away. They were a bit too perfectly placed to fill in gaps.
Speaking of convenience, Mujika’s blood seemed to be the magic solution to most of their problems, which felt a bit too easy. And the sudden return of Leuvis to save Sonju and Mujika left me scratching my head. Why? How did that even happen?
That said, I did appreciate the moments of strong relationships that came through in this volume. Vincent’s loyalty to Norman and his desire to truly be his friend felt genuine and heartwarming. And seeing the kids from Goldy Pond recognize Lucas as a father figure—wow, that part brought tears to my eyes!
With the next volume being the last, I’m cautious. I’m hoping for a satisfying wrap-up, though I’m a bit wary after some of the overly convenient resolutions in the recent volumes. Still, I’m eager to see Emma’s final wish and what the “collateral” will turn out to be.

This volume was really good. It was action packed and kept me on my toes, without really making me suffer. I even got a little emotional. My eyes were ready to water, but it quickly passed when it moved to the next thing. Ratri is truly losing it and y'know? I never really understood such a hard drive for power. Like that is so much work. He's so unhinged just to remain in control and for what? It's a common villain motivation and sure I vaguely get it, but it just seems like a lot.
Anyway I'm finally going to finish it and I'm most interested in how the kids end up. I don't remember if it was revealed what the new promise Emma made was, because if it was revealed I certainly don't remember it now. With Mujika's blood demons and humans don't have to interact anymore. The kids could go and join the human side and that will be that, but I feel like that won't be the ending. I don't know. We'll see I guess!

Des explications trop longues pour des choses pas si important pour l’avancement de l’histoire. De plus les flashbacks toutes les trois pages…C’est dérangeant pour la compréhension de l’histoire.
