This felt like Pinterest self-help poetry (better than Instagram poetry, but still cringey) and, yuck, i had such high hopes bc of a single good poem I saw on tiktok. Here's a snippet of one of the 'worst' ones, I'm so sorry to the author.. 

So then be basic
like what everyone else likes
enjoy the pumpkin spice lattes
wear leggings as pants
because no matter how mainstream
If you like it, you like it and that’s a good enough reason

Anyways, this is a fast read and I know some people enjoy Rupi Kaur's wannabees' poetry so do with that what you will.
