This book is still very much a soap opera but soap operas are well liked for a reason. They're fascinating and over the top full with cliches and impossibilities and that's fun! :)
I would love to read about the twins as well but I'm not sure if that's an option :)

Cracked Kingdom sort of redeemed itself. I still don't feel anything for Easton and Hartley. It sucks ass that her parents suck even more. Then there's the fact that some things just didn't add up. You'd think there would be something important with a certain character or whatever - then nothing! It just seemed like so many things were pointless in this book. Which, again, made me sad.

Hartley and Easton were a bit frustrating to like. Hartley doesn't use her brain at all which was completely annoying. I get that she lost her memory and shit..but damn, she was just annoying, naive, and god damn gullible. I wanted to slap her so many times. Plus their whole relationship was just meh to me. Again, I felt absolutely nothing for them.

After all of that nonsense, the ending was what redeemed it (at least for me). I loved seeing Ella and Reed back together. The cherry on top was them getting married. They are relationship goals and they are what made me fall in love with this series. If I could, somehow, get another book about them - like their married life or something - I would be so freaking happy!

I freaking love the royals!

Cracked Kingdom probably gave me like 5 mini heart attacks while reading it. I got my boy Easton and my girl Hartley basically being my romeo and juliet. I hated Hartley's parents because they were just god damn awful. Then there's my homegirl Ella and I was so freaking happy to see her in this book (you don't even know!). THEN the ending had me swooning all over the place. I was so happy with it. I didn't care if it was realistic or not. They got a happy ending. I got a happy ending. The world got a happy ending!

Overall, I loved this book. I loved the drama and the action. I loved the villains and I definitely loved the happy ending. I can't wait for the next book... PLEASE TELL ME IT'S A THING?!

Finnnnalllllyyy got through it. The series started off entertaining and then it started to drag but I was keen to read Easton’s story. He was my fave but seriously what story. Part 2 was all about Hart which I didn’t really vibe with.

It’s also my second amnesia story close together. I’ve decided I really don’t like this type of storyline.

Amnesia plots are a hard sell for me, but there’s just something about these books that makes you devour them. This is not a stand-alone and the series needs to be read in order. I’m just left wondering if we’re ever going to get the twin’s story?

Thanks to Berkley and NetGalley for the chance to review.
