Phillip was probably my least favorite of the Quinn brothers, but he was still wonderful. Always a surprise to up tight, methodical Sybill. These two threw each other off to the point of almost throwing them apart. But in the end another puzzle pieces was added to the Quinn Family to support young Seth.

Wow! This was a far more complex story than the rest of the series so far. Absolutely loved it.

I liked this a lot.

I think that some of Sybil's actions at the beginning were very, unethical - that's not the word. Sybil behaved in a manner that she knew deep down, was wrong. And you could tell that the way she justified it to herself.

Phillip is a slick, sophisticated guy and in Sea Swept and Rising Tides, he kind of annoyed me a little. But in this book you really see below the surface and he's still slick and sophisticated, but that's not all he is. He's loyal and even if he grumbles, you know he's got your back.

I enjoyed seeing Sybil and Phillip circle each other and fall in love, however I do feel it could have benefited from a few extra pages.

I first read this series more than 20 years ago when it was first published. Art the time, I remember this being my least favorite book. This time, it joins the others as among my favorite Nora Roberts books.

I love Quinn brothers!! The mystery of this serie might be too easy in the end. This book was quite emotional. I like character of Sybill. Her attitude of life in psychology was interesting and I'm always into psychological thing. Phillip's behavior was , sometime , too much. Anyway, this serie is fun and meaningful to catch up. Next is the little brother :D

TWIN 1: Nora Roberts is the best! All of her books have been great so far and this series is amazing. I love the Quinn family and can’t wait to read the last book. For anybody who loves romance, this is the book and series for you!

TWIN 2: Why does this book have to be over!?!? I just love this series so much! Philip and Sybill’s relationship is just too cute! I’m sad there is only one book left to the Chesapeake Bay Series, but I can’t wait to read it!

Definitely my favorite book so far in the Chesapeake Bay Saga! Phillip is by far my favorite character because he's so funny and relatable, and this book ups the drama by bringing Sybill into the mix. Great end to the original trilogy!

The series as a whole wasn't too bad. Typical Nora Roberts. Phillip was by far my favorite brother and I could relate to Sybil's desire to please her family but I just didn't feel the romance between them; not, at least, the way I did with Cameron and Anna. Phillip and Sybil just seemed forced. Sure, he thought she was different because she didn't fall at his feet. I could even buy that he may have also felt protective. But love? I don't know. By his own admission, he said he hadn't been with a woman since Seth came and even slightly resented Cam and Ethan having "sex on the regular". To me, it was too convenient. If it were one of my friends, I'd say it was all lust and wouldn't last the long haul. For Phillip, as intelligent and sly as he is, I expected more of a dance.
