gd this book got me good!

“You know that feeling, when you're watching someone sleep and you feel overwhelmed with joy that they exist.”

4.5 - I just adore Emily Henry’s books. I often hear this book is the favourite of fans. I think it takes a third spot next to Funny Story and Great Big Beautiful Life. I still adored this journey of grief, writers block, making assumptions about people, and how we all have different perspectives on the world. And now that I’ve read all of her romance books I can only hope she’s not going to pull a January Andrew’s and make us wait years for her next book!

ms emily henry can take all my money and i’ll thank her. I resonated so much with January, even when she has a name like fucking January. like no seriously, she’s just like me fr. with that said, where is my gus??

So. So. Good. I never wanted it to end!!!!

there were some incredibly heartwarming interactions in this book, although the most emotion I felt was reading the letters. There was just something about the characters that made them unlikable to me, and I usually love a good broken man who is working on healing himself but this one didn’t hit the same for me.
