Reread. I enjoyed this book. Holds up better than the twilight books for me. I enjoyed the characters and the world building and didn’t mind the romance.

Enjoyed the world building.

Holds up better than the Twilight series after 15 or so years.

Again, waiting for paperback!

Interesting concept. Loved the sci-fi aspect of this book and learning about all of the other worlds the souls have lived on. The suspense, romance, and humanity of this novel was great.

Better and more interesting than Twilight in some ways. I think it probably could have been edited to be shorter, but overall it was an easy/fun read.

This is definitely not my normal pick but I trusted the recommendation of a friend. It delivered. Aliens are not usually my thing but this was an interesting (although creepy at times) plot. It dragged in the middle - I just think it could have been shorter but otherwise I enjoyed the journey. I do still have questions that I think could have been answered. I was pretty sure how it would end just not all the details.

”it’s a strange world.”

In a world that Stephanie Meyers created, it is a strange world indeed.

I know I'm late to the party, but I saw The Host at the library and just had to pick it up. Being that I loved the movie, I wanted to get the full experience to see and read the differences between both.

And I know it's crazy to say but….

I like the movie better
