A fantastic volume this time with a new mission which involves some horrible people and also a big hard chat with Kasahara's parents, but also features a famous guy popping up, sakura blossom viewing (poor Kasahara, but she tried), Dojo x Kasahara sweetness (these two need to confess, come on, it is so clear to everyone). I am curious how the next volume is going to go given that it will be a big battle. I was so proud of Kasahara btw, how she handled things at that branch and how she talked to the girls in the defence force and tried to be there for them. She was really mature and I love how much she has grown!

In the last volume, we saw the Media Betterment Committee lose their mind over an article that dared to use the word 'barber' - and that a citizens' group sued them for their censorship efforts. The battle against silencing speech has only started, though, as another fight starts as another ends, all in the conflict between MBC and the Library Forces. And as the Library Forces get heated in Ibaraki, poor Iku can't help but get heated over Dojo and the possibility of her parents finding out what she really does every day. What's a girl in uniform to do?

Awesome

This is an awesome comic series, and I’m truly loving to reading it! It’s a strong girl who wants to do what she loves most, which is defending the library.

[Read more at my blog, Geeky Reading!]

I’m all caught up now! It went by much too quickly, and now I have to wait with everyone else.

There’s another censoring article that goes up at the beginning of the volume, featuring a famous guy. And this really just made me angry at the MBA even more, because the censoring was just ridiculous. But I’m biased, because of my general thoughts on the topic.

Then the group goes to stay and help a smaller library that’s having a controversial art exhibit. The people running the library are frustrating. And the whole thing is hard on Iku, sadly; but Dojo does good at helping her with it. And they’re just going off into possible battle at the end of the volume.

Then there’s a cherry blossom viewing side story at the end. And it was cute, mainly because of how hard Iku works to view it with Dojo. I love Iku and Dojo and it’s so cute now that Iku has realized her feelings. I really hope something happens between them soon, because really, how long is it going to be pushed off?

So the next volume is still a while away, sadly. I can’t wait for it to get here.

SO MUCH CHARACTER GROWTH FOR IKU!!!! I love that she is finding her stride and becoming more confident in herself!!!! The cliffhanger on this chapter though.... Luckily I have checked out all the volumes and will not be left hanging !

With the announcement of a citizen organization suing the MBA over a banned word, the Library Task Force faces a new threat with an art exhibit causing protests and threats at a local library branch. The team is called to help out but once they get there, they are faced with a leadership structure that doesn’t follow with the rest of the Library system.

Iku is faced with a lot of bullying and I loved how she faces it head on. We get some more entertaining encounters between Iku and Dojo which were amazing and makes you question what’ll happen next. The biggest surprise though is that Iku is faced with a challenge she was not prepared for and needs to make a decision on how she’ll react when it puts her position at the Library in risk.
