Simply amazing. The stories weave of a series of tales about living between worlds, about how confusing American life is from another perspective. I laughed and cried. The seeming effortlessness of bringing characters to life with all of their complexities is wonderful. Also, I always love books that advance feminist and LGBTQ lenses. Sometime this book is blatant about it, sometimes it just allows for characters to exist, their sexuality just a part of their rich set of characteristics.

One of my favorites I've ever read. I adore short stories and I adore Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. She has such a beautiful writing style. I think she and Shirley Jackson would've been friends.

This was such an interesting journey through so many different Nigerian perspectives.
