2 1/2 meh
It starts with them already together in a friends with benefits situation. She wants a serious relationship to start a family and doesn't even consider him as she thinks of him as a player. OK this trope, that you don't even consider your pretty long great sexual relationship or even tell him. At least tell him. So after getting over that, they are a cute couple but the "love" he gets from her family /not was irritating. The judgmental attitude would be hard to get over, especially since he is "such a good" guy. So what is wrong with him? He works at his family's garage? Well I never really got over this
Spoilerand as much as the family might apologize later, we don't get to see this.

It ends up nice but was a bit boring too. There was a created drama at the end to try to fix feelings of others IMO and it was just, what is was.
Spoiler This didn't really make total sense since this doesn't change who Troy is but suddenly the family accepts him. Why because they had falsely accused him of standing her up? Well, if they really feel that way, doesn't mean he wouldn't stand her up at some other point. So why do the family members change their tune?
So didn't mesh for some of the characters IMO. It was OK to good.
