Loved this little novella about two best friends who pretend to be newlyweds in Vegas when Brody enters them into a contest but Miller doesn’t want to play pretend. Miller’s been in love with his best friend since forever and he doesn’t want to pretend but when he’s forced to for sake of the contest things begin to change.

Reasons I Recommend:

1) One kiss makes Brody question things

2) Miller and Brody have a weekend they didn’t expect to have and

3) A really sweet and adorable story about best friends to lovers.

Read this because the last hockey specific romance was so bad that I was like maybe time to move onto non-hockey, it was short story so it was just ok. Nothing really stood out to me about it, one friend in love with the other and is putting space between them instead of communicating why and the other friend is scrambling to keep him close and then discover oh I was in love the whole time.
