I'm very tempted to just make a bunch of witch puns for this review but I will refrain, and instead, restate my love for Mother Goose

I am not a typical reader who loves the fantasy genre, but for some reason Chris's fictions always attract me. This is of no exception.
To be frank, I did enjoy A Tale of Magic more than A Tale of Witchcraft. One thing that I would like the point out would be about the plot twist. I was expecting a huge plot twist as huge as that in A Tale of Magic but turns out the plot twist here did not really surprise me.
Notwithstanding, I really love the message behind this fiction, "hold hope and don't let hatred manipulate your mind. Especially during a difficult time like this, A Tale of Witchcraft is such an uplifting reading that takes me away from my struggles.
Good job and I will definitely wait for the third release of the series~

Love it. The references to Alex and Conner were amazing! I did not expect them to get a sort of cameo in the book. Death was also such an interesting character. Can we please, please see more of him? I need to know more. And who is this immortal? Do we know him/her from The Land of Stories? I wanna know. And I need the next book, like, now.

I like this one better than the first.
