I think the whole story line of Brystal getting worried, and her seeking advice from Madame Weatherberry honestly showed that Brystal was still getting used to her role of being leader, but the plot was very unexpected like majority of Chris Colfers books.

I knew it. I knew something was up with Seven.

This book was amazing, I loved it. The witches weren’t what I was expected and I was glad. Stitches was so dark and funny.
I couldn’t believe that Pip ditched Brystal though especially after they’re talk. It didn’t really make any sense and was never explained.
