I like the story, and I’m interested to see where it’s going to go… I think the writing could use some more development, but it’s an easy read.
I figured this would be a fast fun read which it was at the beginning. I was hooked at the start but somewhere near the middle I just kind of lost interest. I had to force myself to finish the last 30 pages. I liked it but I didn’t love it. I don’t know if I will continue with the series.
honestly the summary gave me acotar vibes… overall plot was good, lore and sia have a very similar relationship to feyre and tamlin

This was an okay read - I felt like there wasn't much difference between the humans and fae. I felt like the women who were part of the competition, who apparently are all fae, sounded like a bunch of high school girls. I wish Lore had a bit of personality to him. If you told me there was fae in this book, I wouldn't have noticed.
I wish Lore had a bit more of personality to him. I didn't get the romance between him and Sia.
Sia and Merica's friendship was more stronger.
I felt like everything was too conveniently set up.

It was nice, nothing new and a bit lacking, but still a nice Story about a Girl who finds friendship and new Powers in a World she Never knew existed!
Man I was so disappointed, I had the urge to put down this book a few times but stuck through and for what?? A ending we all saw coming? I felt like the whole book it was just back and forth with no real progression at all! Like the whole thing could have been 50 pages.
I liked the friendship between the 2 girls, other than that I felt like I've read this story since I was a kid...
