Romance with a mystery. Fun, with adult protagonists - the main character is recovering from a divorce after 22 years of marriage - how do you rebuild your life after it falls apart and not make the same mistakes? Also, the mystery was quite fun.

It was a fun read at first. But Margie and Suze are just so incredibly stupid its unbelievable. They have no braincells whatsoever. And Gabe and Riley are the same person but one is younger and funner. The only redeemable character is Nell. Everyone else sucks.
Suze married a 39 year old man at 18. They met while he was cheating on his wife, just like he cheated on the wife before her. And Suze honestly thought he’d be different?!?! She was 18 years old, stripping off her HIGH SCHOOL CHEERLEADER OUTFIT, for a 39 year old, and saw NOTHING WRONG WITH HIM?
Why is this book called fast women? This is the slowest bunch ive ever seen.

It was a snowy Sunday afternoon and I was in the mood for some Jennifer Cruisie. As with all of her books, I enjoyed it. However, it's not my favorite. Some of her books have held up well over the years, but this one with its themes of adultery and misogyny doesn't do so well in the 2020s.

Emotionally numb from her divorce 18 months earlier, Nell Dysart is about to waken with a vengeance.
This was a surprise, the first couple of chapters were kinda of slow but Im glad I stuck it out. Very funny and entertaining.

That was long as shit, unexpectedly dark, and uneven. I’m disappointed.
