Loved the way it was written, as an interview ! The characters were flawed but so realistic and driven, I loved them so much ! The ending was very sad and yet hopeful, kinda sweet and sour... I was getting tearful by the end. It was a bit slow at first but It was so well written that it didn't bother me. Overall, it was a really good book and I enjoyed spending all that time with the characters.

This one wasn’t for me. I liked the depth of the characters and was amazed at how lifelike they were but the book’s format, done in the style of quick interview clips, made me feel disconnected. When I finished the book, I didn’t feel like much actually happened! I’ve heard the audio book to this is much stronger, so perhaps I would have ranked this a bit higher had I listened to that instead of reading it. I think a strong interest in classic rock would also help boost the rating for other readers.

Wheww what a rollercoaster of a book! Definitely don’t regret reading though. I love how imperfect these characters are. Some piss you off, others you can relate to, and sometimes you realize you would do the same thing and you’re pissed at yourself 😂. This book is really creative in the way it makes you think about what truly matters in life. The ending is also very satisfying in my opinion.
