meh.

Really bloody good, edge of the seat stuff

one of the best crime/detective thrillers. it had a touch of Sherlock Holmes in it. it was a fast read, i found the beginning very hilarious and the expressions the author used are quiet visual and humorous. i cant wait to read more materials of his!

If it wasn't for the last pages of this book , i wouldn't have given it 2 stars , because of how slow it was.
I always thought I am a spy books fan , but turns out I AM NOT.

Great potboiler, chock full of Edwardian upper-class banter. Would be a perfect little spy novel if not for the casual antisemitism shown by the characters. Best read as an amusing reminder that 'the old days' had their own issues...

Wild ride, quite funny at times (my mortal enemy *checks notes* Marmaduke) and just all about the hustle of disguise on the run
