3.9 AVERAGE

Taken by Storm was definitely not the way that I expected this trilogy to end. It was a book with a lot of "What the H just happened?" moments. It was ok, but completely played on Callum's power a lot. I was disappointed that it didn't show more of Chase and Bryn's relationship, but I guess it was preparing you for the end...another"WTHJH" moment. It was good, but nothing compared to the Raised by Wolves.

I don't know if its because I have left it a long time between reading the other two books and this one, but this one was really disappointing.

For one, Bryn as a character did not grow at all and just seemed to whine about what she had, what she had lost etc.. It got far too repetitive and boring.

We got to see a little more about Callum, but Chase and Devon and all the other characters really were just periphery characters.

Yes, there was lots of action in the book, and yes at times i was crying the writing was still good in that respect. I just didn't get it.

And the ending? Don't even get me started on that. If this truly is the ending of the series then it leaves the whole series feeling unfinished in so many ways. To many questions floating about.

I would still recommend this book if you have been reading the series, but it left me wanting to read another book to fill the space it left. I certainly will not remember this book.

I finished it. It blew my mind. I'm so sad this is the end of the story of Brynn. :(

For those of you wondering: nope, Brynn does not get changed, not during the book.
It is pure awesomeness nonetheless, but I'm just not coherent enough right now to write a proper review for it.

I need to digest this, and probably re-read the entire trilogy before I can write a meaningful critique. Until then, I get to play fanboy - yuppie! (I think this is the only series in existence that managed to turn me into one. That's an accomplishment in itself, doubtless.)

I fell in love with this book! <3

First of all I have to say I'm in love with Devon!! wow what a babe!

I found second half of this book is a lot better than the first half. Up until the half way point I was thinking to myself this is only a 3 stars book yet as I kept reading it got so incredibly better. I cannot wait for the next in the series. Jennifer Lynn Barnes has totally rekindled my love for this series. I was hesitant at first coming into this book as I felt as if the series couldn't go much further, I was totally wrong. Jennifer has done an awesome job with this book. I'm not going to lie this book was definitely a tear jerker. I basically cried my way through the last 10 chapters.

There's so much to look forward to in the books to come! Bring it on!

I don't see why Chase had to die. There's no way he can come back and that messed up the book for me.

The ending was right but it felt rushed. There wasn’t time to process the impact before we moved on to the next plot twist.

What did I think?!
I wish i hadn't read that book, IS what I THINK!!
I loved thi triology from the beginning but with this ending... Are you kidding me!!! What is this shit.! He dies and all is over ??? What couldn't he brought back as a shadow or anything else. I think this Little Baby has some knack for brigíng shadows into the real world.!! It is... it is unbelievibile. Oh wel it is nice that she let herself turn around by Calum but seriously why could come Chase back when she turn wolf and knock her up with some puppy AND THEN MAYBE disapear forever because know he did give her somethink from her. It is a F***ing ending where she losed as an extra her best friend which could have been a second choise of Partner!!
I'm still criing while i'm writing this. Wish I never bought this books.
But hey! Who loves alot of Drama, cruel faiths and a F***ing ending... BE WELCOMED to read it.

So 3 from 5 stars. It could have been 5 if he had her knocked up and died or simply came back as "shadow" or didn'd die and f***ing Calum had found a way to save his life...

Haaaa... Still I hate it.! like Allegiant..

I just finished this book and I'm not sure how I feel. My brain knows it's the end of the series, but my heart feels like there should be more.

This was a tough ending, but one that I felt was the right one. You just have to be in the right mood for it.
