This turned out to be a good story! I was not sure I would enjoy Ari’s story as much as the others. Valen and Elise are my favorite and I love the callbacks to their love and their story, especially with Gunnar around. This story has depth and the characters are interesting. I’m curious to see how Ari and Saga’s story concludes in the next book. I really enjoy all of the various magic systems in this series, they’re unique and complex but easy to grasp. I really appreciate the care taken to build the characters and the world in a way that we can easily understand it. Also, I do love a possessive MMC who will always choose his love over all else. These are stories for those who love heroes, and I love that.
