The Sad Ghost Club is an absolutely beautiful graphic novel that looks at all the full range of emotions that come with anxiety, depression and loneliness.
Often all three of the above become deeply enmeshed and interlinked and Meddings shows this so tenderly within the book.
She also allows the reader to step into the shoes of someone suffering from GAD (generalized anxiety disorder) who is constantly on edge, constantly worrying and always scanning their environment.
A gorgeous graphic novel (both illustrations and story) which will bring comfort to some and enlighten others.

This book didn't give me the same depth and comfort as the short comics, but it's still a sweet and helpful story about mental health. 🤍
Moderate: Mental illness
Minor: Suicidal thoughts and Self harm
