A great premise with great elements, but a bit of a miss for me, mainly because a lot of the main characters are annoying.
Tesla Crane, uber-wealthy inventor, is trying to enjoy her honeymoon on an interplanetary cruise ship, but her husband is accused of murder and she has to clear his name. The set up is good, the world is fun, the pitch of locked room high society sci-fi murder mystery is great, but it suffers from perhaps a too faithful rendition of high society. Basically all of the passengers are insufferable, including Tesla Crane herself. There is also a huge focus on cocktails in the book, which I get what the author was going for, but it just felt kind of oppressive. This book also probably suffers from hype, because I really enjoy her other books and I was really looking forward to this one. It does have nice representation and a richly imagined future.

A lot of fun, with cool world building. I'm not sure it ultimately all hangs together in the end IMO, but I enjoyed reading it
100% would read more Tesla, Gimlet, and Shal misadventures. Especially if their lawyer is included. This book was a hoot and kept me hooked all the way through! While the result of the whodunnit fell a little weak for me, I still had a great time reading this and definitely recommend!
Murder on a cruise liner iiiinnn spaaaace! Very able and entertaining, and everyone's reactions to the little dog are cute.
