“Ineffable.
That's what this is.
This thing of ours.
It’s fucking ineffable.”

The spice was popping as always, and we were blessed but what I really need to talk about is:
What an emotional conclusion to Cassidy and Max's love story. Ya'll. I was not ready, I thought I was, I was feeling the feels and then BAM b1tches be hit with more fucking turmoil. Again and again and I cried so many freaking timessssss. You don't even know. But here I am, I've pushed through and I could not recommend their love story more!
I am so ready for Bronson, ya'll give it to MEEEE.

More of a romantic plot than a mafia/suspense plot. Not as much character development as I would like. Max never fully opened up to Cassidy. I am interested to see if we see their relationship deepen in book 3, even if they will be side characters.

Book 2 in the duet and it was really good, things slowed down for me from about 50-70% in, which was mostly just that time in a book where everything is running smoothly until the main event, it was a sweet time in the book, lots of love and hot scenes.
It picked right back up after that and things got complicated for the couple, it gave me all the feels, I shed some tears, I was so freaking hearbroken at the amount of time Max missed and the special moments, god that just broke my heart, I would have loved a few more chapters with them as a family so i could read from Max POV while he got to know Kelly, I did feel like that was the one thing i needed but didnt get.
Bronson with Kelly at the end was so freaking cute. Cant wait to read his book.
