Too many baseball references but that didn't stop me from scaring myself to death whenever the thing was mentioned.
After about 50 pages I decided this was Stephen King’s tribute to his favorite baseball team. Once I got passed that I enjoyed the book. It was my first Stephen King book. I don’t know if it was the best one to start with. I thought the suspense was built up very well through the book and found myself speeding through the pages at the end.
