I started it because I loved the tv show adaptation, and at first I thought I was mainly enjoying it that much because I could transpose the show in the pages. But the more I read and discovered all the bits that aren't in the show and the more invested and interested I was. I loved seeing her point of views unfold and felt super invested in her heartbreaks. I found myself in tears at some points, and also deeply touched by her depiction of the love women have for each other. I struggle with non fiction, but this was a treat. Her life is an absolutely wild ride and she tells it beautifully without having a heavy writing.
Recommended to anybody who grew up with 90s British culture !!!

Overall good, I heard a lot of praise about it but didn’t look up what type of book it was exactly so my expectations were a bit off. I didn’t go into it expecting it to be as autobiographical. But there are still a lot of relatable things to pick up on the way.

It's a good book but many elements maybe will not fit the life of people. It's still a good book, it's very reflective about life. Its have good advice but as I mention not everything is for everyone. But still is a good book to read at least once.

i really really wanted to love this book and there were definitely parts i loved and enjoyed but it also contained a lot of aspects and decisions i didn’t understand

the first third of the book felt very slow and i found the drug and alcohol abuse in that part very frustrating but i enjoyed reading about her twenties a lot, which might be due to the fact that i’m in my twenties

not sure who i would recommend this to
